A little about us…
History of Arthur Murray
Arthur Murray himself, first started teaching people to dance in 1912 and opened his first studio in 1923 on 43rd Street in New York City. He remains a true pioneer of social dancing.
In 2012, Arthur Murray celebrated 100 years of teaching the world to dance and today there are over 260 Arthur Murray Dance Studios in 21 countries across the globe.

With thought put into the details, our studio is designed to be your happy place. We offer a purpose-built dance floor, modern facilities and warm personal touches.
Located in Leichhardt, amidst some of the best restaurants in town and close to convenient parking and public transport options. Our studio is a welcome haven for all our students.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are skilled professionals who love their work! Although each teacher comes with their own personal style and dance background, the whole team is trained to teach the Arthur Murray syllabus. This means you get consistent, quality instruction across your lessons. Our teachers love to dance and LOVE to teach - they know how to make learning to dance fun, quick and easy at any level.

Our dance programs are personally tailored to suit your goals. By getting to know you, we can help you find the dances that really get you grooving. Our syllabus will give you structure in your learning with signposts to guide your progress, while maintaining flexibility to adapt to your personal benefits of dance.

Events
With lots of events available to our students, there is always a goal to pursue. From our regular socials designed to practice your dancing skills, to our full day events called Showcases. And when you’re feeling like you need a vacation, you can join us on one of our overseas dance trips called Dance-O-Ramas.
